'Indian Idol 11': Neha Kakkar couldn't hold back her tears after knowing a contestant set himself on fire

Indian Idol's 11th season was kickstarted a few days back and the judges of the show namely Anu Malik, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar are travelling around the country and auditioning the aspiring singers. With this season, Neha was also a contestant of Indian Idol returns as the judge for the second time. While Anu has judged the singing reality show since its first season while Vishal had judged Indian Idol Junior and Season 10.

The channel airing the show recently tweeted a video in which Neha was seen breaking down in tears looking at a contestant. Named Abhinash, the contestant is a visually impaired person with several marks on his face. When Neha asked him about it, Abhinash revealed that he attempted suicide as he felt like a burden to his parents. His father then came on stage and revealed that his son poured kerosene on himself and set on fire when the parents weren't home.

Abhinash then sang 'Aas Paas Khuda' from Anjaana Anjaani and Neha was crying continuously during his performance. Vishal who composed the song then told Abhinash, "Yeh gaana Rahat sahab (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan) ne gaya tha, Shekhar ne bol likhe the. Aur, aaj iss gane ke bol mujhe bhi samajh mein aye hain, aapke gaane se. Main bas aapse mere gane ko matlab dene ke liye shukriya ada karna chahunga."

While Neha told Abhinash that life is beautiful and never do such things.
