According to a report on Bollywood Life, Roshan Bhinder had accused Harshad Chopra of cutting Sushant Singh Rajput's lines. For the same reason, #HarshadChopra was trending on Twitter for a long time. Sushant and Harshad's fans had defended their icons.
The tribute by Harshad Chopra aired on Star TV on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on August 22, 2020. He was dressed like Sushant's outfit from the 'Kedarnath' song 'Sweetheart'. The actor also performed on SSR's 'Raabta' song 'Ikk Vaari'.
'Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil' gave Sushant recognition. He was also noticed by Ekta Kapoor on the show, who then cast the actor for a lead role in 'Pavitra Rishta'. The show 'Pavitra Rishta' gave SSR enough recognition so he could enter Bollywood.
