'Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner becomes Queen in the North once again at comfort of her home; here's how

Sophie Turner played the iconic character of Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones for eight long seasons from 2011 to 2019. Now that it's been a year since the show ended, the fans still remember the characters which have become unforgettable. Many times actors take home souvenirs from the sets for remembrance and Sophie has followed the suit. The actor a while back took to her Instagram story and shared a prop she got home straight from the sets of Game of Thrones.

Towards the end of the show, Sansa Stark becomes Queen of the North and she is seen sitting on the throne. Yes, Turner got the throne at her home and she posted the photo of the magnificent thing on her Instagram story. The actor captioned the photo stating, "Welcome home".

Earlier talking about Sansa Stark's evolution from the first season to the final one, Game of Thrones co-showrunner David Benioff had said, "She started out so naive and was forced to undergo the most brutal possible education into the world but emerged from it and became this powerful figure and kind of against all odds. I don't think too many people watching the first season had any expectation that Sansa would become the woman that she became."

On the personal front, Sophie and husband Joe Jonas welcomed their first baby, a girl in July this year. The couple named their daughter Willa Jonas. The couple is yet to make the official announcement about the arrival of their baby. However, while wishing Joe on his birthday, Sophie addressed him as 'baby daddy'.
