Erica Fernandes sets the record straight on whether she is quitting 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' or not

Rumours have been spread like wildfire that Erica Fernandes is following the suit of Parth Samthaan and quitting their show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Now, Erica has finally reacted to the report and denied that she is leaving the show. The actor revealed that she is very much a part of the show, playing the role of Prerna. It was also being reported that Divyanka Tripathi will be replacing Erica on the show, however, the former took to her Instagram story and denied the report too.

As per reports in BollywoodLife, Erica told an entertainment portal, "I am currently very much a part of Kasautii Zindagi Kay." While talking about Parth leaving the show, a source had told the portal, "Parth wants to now direct his attention towards his health and the other projects he is in talks with. Ekta Kapoor has been trying to persuade Parth into retainment but the actor has expressed his wish to opt-out. The production, in the meantime, has already started to consider actors to step in Parth's shoes but are finding it difficult."

Earlier, Erica had spoken about her decision of resuming the shoot from the sets. She had said, "While shooting from home, I read a few scenes, which I felt wouldn’t have been effective if I shot them alone. Besides, I was not happy with what I saw on screen, and shooting alone was affecting my performance. I am on the show for a major part of it, and it wouldn’t look good if I was only going to be seen in close-ups with no interaction with my co-actors."
