When the first season of 'The Family Man' dropped in 2019, the makers already kickstarted the shoot for the consecutive season. However, that's not the case this time. Raj & DK, the helmers of the Manoj Bajpayee starring Amazon Prime Video original, revealed that they have been waiting for the feedback on the second season before kickstarting the shoot for the third part of the series.

Raj Nidimoru stated to Firstpost, "We are behind this time. We have the world in place, we have the concept, we have an idea, and the foundation to some extent. But we're still developing the story. This time, we're actually seeing the feedback, and there's a deluge of it. We need to regroup, clear our heads, and sit and start writing it so that we're not too influenced but are still cognizant of what was great and what was not."

While Krishna DK shared, "When something fails, you definitely look at what went wrong, and why it didn't work. And when it succeeds also. Nothing is perfect. There are still going to be niggles."

During an exclusive interaction with DNA, when Manoj was asked if he is relieved that the show has been well-received amid all the controversies, he said, "I mean, you look at the reaction from everywhere. We were very sure that once they (viewers) watched the show, all the questions will be answered, all the apprehensions will be taken care of. Now, when you know it is doing so well, and each and everyone is watching, you don't hear that kind of noise anymore, partly because the series itself, the story itself has satisfied them and answered all the questions that they had after watching the promo."
