Amitabh Bachchan resumes KBC 12 shooting after completing quarantine period

Amitabh Bachchan has completed his quarantine period at home, and is now back on the sets of his TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 12'. For the uninformed, Big B was tested coronavirus positive and had been admitted to Nanavati hospital for nearly 22 days, after which he undewent home quarantine.

The megastar confirmed the news about being back on the KBC 12 sets through his social media accounts. He posted a photo of him posing from behind the 'hotseat'. On Instagram, the actor also shared an image of the crew, who were seen handling the cameras while wearing a mask.

Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and shared, "T 3636 - It has begun .. back to work and KBC 12 .." Meanwhile, on Instagram, he wrote, ".. it’s back to work .. in a sea of blue PPE .. KBC 12 .. started 2000 .. today year 2020 .. 20 years ! Amaze .. that’s a lifetime !!"

Amitabh Bachchan had shot for the promo of 'KBC 12' during the lockdown period. The video, shot in Big B's home, was remotely directed by 'Dangal' and 'Chhichhore' helmer Nitesh Tiwari (who is also directing the show). For the uninitiated, senior Bachchan has been associated with KBC since a long time (over a decade) and has been the most-loved show host.

Posting about shooting during the lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan had written on his blog, "The preparations for the shoot of the 12th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ have begun. “Lots of…presentation for…starting of KBC promo shoots and KBC itself, detailed protocol of how it’s all going to be done with maximum safety precautions."
