Like Facebook, now you will be able to react to messages on WhatsApp - know how

WhatsApp is adding a whole lot of new features to its messaging app to offer a better experience and convenience to its users. In the latest, WaBetaInfo shared screenshots that suggested that WhatsApp is soon coming out with message reactions on its app.

Instagram and Twitter have already started the message reaction feature for their users. And now the users will be able to enjoy this feature on WhatsApp too. However, WhatsApp is still testing this feature which is in its early stages of development.

This feature will allow you to react to messages with emoji icons, which is probably similar to how one reacts to posts on Facebook. You can react to a message with emojis of heart, laugh, angry, cry, smile, like, or dislike. However, we are not sure of what type of emojis will be available. 

The feature will first be available on the Android version of WhatsApp and then for iOS users. On Instagram, to send emojis all you need to do is to long-press on a message and select from any of the emojis that pop up. Once message reactions roll out, you'll need to be on the latest version of WhatsApp to see them, and if you're not, then WhatsApp will ask you to update the version.
