Indian men's and women's hockey teams made it to the finals to assure two more medals.

Indian wrestler Simran added yet another silver medal to India's medal tally at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games 2018 on Saturday. Meanwhile, both men's and women's hockey teams made it to the finals to assure India of two more medals.
Simran lost to USA’s Emily Shilson in final of the girls' freestyle 43 kg event after easing through the qualifying rounds. Simran went down 6-11 against the champion.
This is India's fifth silver medal at the ongoing Youth Olympic Games 2018 and eighth medal at the Youth Olympics. India now has three gold and five silver at Buenos Aires Games. They are assured to add more to their tally with the men and women teams rated as favourites in their hockey 5s finals.

In the hockey 5s men’s semifinal, India defeated Argentina 3-1 as Sudeep Chirmako scored twice while Rahul Kumar added one. The Indian women beat China 3-0 in their hockey 5s semifinal. The Indian men's hockey team will now fave Malaysia while women's team will take on Argentina on Sunday.
