Wimbledon: Ramkumar Ramanathan bows out of Wimbledon Qualifiers

The unseeded Ramanathan lost 6-7 (5) 3-6 to 11th world number 111 and seed in one hour and nineteen minutes.

India's Ramkumar Ramanathan once again failed to qualify for the Grand Slam main draw after losing at the men's singles qualifying event in the second round of the at the Wimbledon championships to Poland's Kamil Majchrzak.

The unseeded Ramanathan lost 6-7 (5) 3-6 to 11th world number 111 and seed in one hour and nineteen minutes.

The Indian tennis star failed to get one single break point during the match while his opponent Majchrzak, converted two of his seven chances created.

The 24-year-old from Chennai is currently ranked 154 and since 2015 has been trying his luck to qualify for the main draw of a Grand Slam, but has failed succeeded so far.
