Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang paid his tribute to late Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, best remembered for his role in 'Black Panther', after his sudden demise on Saturday (August 29). Aubameyang, who scored an absolute banger against Liverpool in the Community Shield for the Gunners, opted to celebrate him scoring with the iconic 'Wakanda Forever' gesture from the movie Black Panther.

FA Community Shield is an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Premier League winner and the previous season's FA Cup winners.

Chadwick died on Friday due to Stage IV colon cancer at the age of 43. Boseman was in his Los Angeles home with wife and family, when he breathed his last.

The actor was diagnosed with cancer four years back, confirmed his family statement. The 'Black Panther' star did not make his diagnosis public. The MCU film released in 2018, two years after his diagnosis.

Aubameyang managed to find the back of the net with an exquisite strike in the first half which was then cancelled out by Minamino in the second half as the match went to penalties with the scores being 1-1 after 90 minutes at Wembly.

And finally, the Gunners emerged as winners after defeating Liverpool 5-4 on penalties.
