The Bandra police have booked a 60-year-old man who allegedly sexually harassed a 4 year-old boy near Chapel Road in Bandra west. The accused runs a fashion designing store.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the boy was playing in the locality, the accused hugged him after masturbating in front of the kid.
According to police, the minor knew the accused work as a tailor at a particular showroom. The boy later told the cops that the accused was masturbating in front of him and then called him to hug him. The mother of the complainant works as a marketing executive and was at her work place when the incident happened.
When the mother asked the boy, he was nervous and told her, "The tailor was feeling his private part and he told me that red ants are biting him. After few minutes he hugged me tightly."
A case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act has been registered at Bandra police station. Police said that the statement of the mother was taken on Wednesday and they will soon be arresting the senior citizen.
