A major fire broke out at Akruti Trade Centre, a commercial complex housing a number of corporate offices in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area in suburban Andheri late this evening.

According to chief fire officer H N Mujawar, the fire started at a canteen located on the sixth floor of the building and soon spread on the seventh floor.
