Cop held for accepting bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), of Mumbai range, on Saturday, arrested a police sub-inspector (PSI) from Shivaji Nagar police station for allegedly accepting Rs 4,000 bribe to initiate action against a man who booked on charges of domestic violence.

The complainant in the case is the brother of a woman who had complained against her husband and her in-laws.

The cop, Jalinder Misal,57, attached with Shivaji Nagar police had earlier accepted Rs 10,000 to take action against the accused involved in the case.
