Two weeks back, Hiloni Dedhia, 24, a resident of Ghatkopar and a deputy manager of Axis bank had complained to her father that the rush on the Parel railway bridge towards Elphinstone creates confusion and its dangerous.
Dedhia's fears to exit the railway station were evident when she spoke to her family members.

Dedhia, a Chartered Accountant, was on her way to Bombay Dyeing Mills Compound when she was stuck on the Parel-Elphinstone railway bridge towards the exit of Elphinstone railway station. Two medical students and a woman fished her out and was alive. The father, Nilesh Dedhia, was contacted by the students and they rushed her to KEM hospital.

"She had complained about the dangerous condition of the railway bridge which led to the chaos and confusion. She never told us about the situation to be so worse," said her father.

"My daughter had opened her eyes and we could see that she was alive but her condition was critical. But suddenly her condtion worsened due to severe burn injuries," said Dedhia.
