The money will be paid with effect from September 1, 2017.

Since his Army days, Rathore always had a keen interest in the area of sports and even before becoming the Sports Minister, he had been actively persuading the cause of a lesser known Indian sports like “Kabbadi” in his home constituency of Jaipur rural by frequently organizing a well-attended series of “Kabbadi” matches.

His presence in the I&B Ministry is also helping him to publicize these domestic games via popular TV channels.  By camping every Saturday and Sunday in his Parliamentary constituency, Rathore is confident to make his comeback in 2019.
