Aiming to recognize the varied professional achievements of Rajasthan-based Indian Institute of Mass Communication alumni, the “Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association” Rajasthan chapter last year in 2018 started IIMCAA Rajasthan Awards in three categories, with cash prizes.
IIMCAA Rajasthan Chapter President Amrita Maurya informed that the awards will be conferred on 9 February 2019 at ‘Malarpan’. Social worker Sudhir Mathur, Jeweller and Politician Rajiv Arora were the guests at the function and gave away the awards.
The result was declared this year in January. IIMCAA Rajasthan Mala Mathur Memorial Award for Authors/Bloggers will be worth Rs 21,000.

IIMCAA Rajasthan Kamla Poddar Group Award for Development/Feature/PR story is worth Rs 11,000.
The Memorial Award for Author/Blogger was bagged by Ravikant Sharma who created a YouTube channel ‘Effortless GK’ primarily to present animated summary of great books. The channel was a hit in 2016-17.
