The Jammu and Kashmir government today said there is a provision for construction of transit accommodation at three places in Kashmir under prime minister's package for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants.
Rs 20 crore each is being spent for construction of these places in the Valley, the minister for revenue, relief and rehabilitation Raman Bhalla told the Legislative Council in a written reply to a question of Vijay Bakaya (NC).
The three locations are Qazigund in Anantnag district, Vessu in Kulgam district and Khanpur in Baramulla district, he said.
The minister said these locations were selected on the basis of availability of government land and keeping in view the number of migrants living in particular areas.
