Srikakulam Lok Sabha Election Results 2019: Srikakulam constituency election was held in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls on April 11. BJP’s Perla Sambamurti, Congress’ Dola Jaganmohan Rao, YSR Congress Duvvada Srinivas and TDP’s K Ram Mohan Naidu were the key candidates in the fray in 2019.

Srikakulam Lok Sabha Constituency profile 

The Srikakulam constituency has 1226125 electorates according to the election commission report of 2019. In 2019, the competition is going to be among BJP’s Perla Sambamurti, Congress’ Dola Jaganmohan Rao, YSR Congress Duvvada Srinivas and TDP’s K Ram Mohan Naidu. 

The constituency houses a renowned medical company Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. The district is also home to ancient temples and other tourist places. The Srikakulam is among the urbanised districts in Andhra Pradesh. Elections in all the Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on April 11. TDP’s Ramamohan Naidu Kinjarapu is the current MP from the region.

Srikakulam Lok Sabha results in 2014, 2009 and 2004

2014: Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu (M) of the TDP, who received 556163 votes defeated Reddy Shanthi (F) of the YSR Congress who got 428591 votes.
 
2009: Dr Kruparani (F) of the Congress received  387694 votes defeated Yerrof the Congress received 360458 votes. He defeated Midhyam Babu Rao (M) of the CPM 168014 votes. 

2004: Yerrannaidu Kruparani (M) of the TDP received 361906 votes while Killi Kruparani got 330027 votes. 

Ancient temples like Sun God at Arasavilli Mukhalingam Temple, Dantapuri Budhdhist Remnant Site, the Mahendra Tanaya, and Ravi Valasa. The district is also known for its beaches including Kallepalli, Baruva, Kalingapatnam and others.

Voting in all 25 constituencies in Andhra was held on April 11 in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls 2019. The state also witnessed simultaneously assembly election.
