SEE PICS: Ahmedabad braces itself for Japan PM Shinzo Abe's two-day visit

Ahmedabad on Tuesday donned a colourful sight as the city geared itself up to welcome Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as part of the 12^th Indo-Japan annual summit.

Abe is on a two-day trip to India to strengthen already good ties between the two nations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also welcomed Abe by showing him how Ahmedabad had set the tone for a fruitful visit.
