The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to interfere in the ongoing controversy surrounding the question paper leakage of the Haryana Judicial Services Exam.

The petitioner Suman had filed a transfer petition, making serious allegations against a judge of Punjab & Haryana High Court, seeking shifting of the case to the Delhi High Court.

The petitioner alleged that she got in touch with one Sushila, who was claiming to have access to the question paper for HCS (Judicial) exam.

While she didn't believe Sushila initially, during the actual exam, she realised that many of the questions were the same as told by Sushila. Incidentally, Sushila even told the petitioner that there was a full package deal for the exam, including written and interview.

Her husband filed a complaint before Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court on the administrative side.

During hearing of her petition, a single judge of the HC also took strong note of her allegations. However, the matter was shifted to a three-judge bench by then Acting Chief Justice SS Saron.

The SC bench, on Tuesday, declined to entertain the same and asked her to first exhaust the remedy before the HC.

The petitioner then chose to withdraw the petition which was allowed.
