PM Narendra Modi's Cabinet expansion 2021: Check out the full list of probable ministers

The new council of ministers may see 15 to 20 members from SC and OBC communities and the representation of women will also see an increase.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to expand his union council of ministers on Wednesday (July 7). It is to be noted that this will be first Cabinet expansion in the second term of PM Modi and according to sources the Cabinet expansion is set to witness record inductions of members from OBC and Scheduled Caste communities. Reports claimed that the cabinet reshuffle exercise would take place at around 6 pm on Wednesday. 

It is learnt that the new council of ministers may see 15 to 20 members from SC and OBC communities and the representation of women will also see an increase. The reshuffle of Cabinet is expected to lay emphasis on experience and education, which means more professionals, PhDs, MBAs and postgraduates will find a place.
