He also appealed BJP cadres to politically fight the ongoing tussle in Kerala.

Addressing a press conference later, Arun Jaitley said PM Modi hailed the BJP organisation for being the most active party in the country. PM Modi in his speech said democracy must be beyond election and public participation is key in the democratic process. He asked BJP leaders to make the party an instrument of mass participation to improve the quality of life of people. He said as long as political activists don't take part in mass movements, it is hard to achieve success. According to Jaitley, PM said that opposition often resorts to harsh language when they lack substantive charge against the government.

Arun Jaitley says that most macroeconomic data has been sounder than never before, except the GDP figures in the last quarter. He explains the reason behind the blip in the radar. When asked if the party is overconfident of winning in 2019, Arun Jaitley denied that and said the party will try its best to win the mandate of the people, to ensure New India is formed under their rule. Jaitley says that no effort has been made by Congress in the past to bring back black money.
