"Will not go against sentiments of people. There are no issues left that is why such issues are being raised," Rajnath Singh on Article 35A.
A day after reviewing the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir at a high-level meeting, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday asked Pakistan to stop infiltrating terrorists into the Valley.
"Pakistan should stop infiltrating terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir," reported PTI quoting the Home Minister.
"We wish to resolve the problems facing Kashmir. I am ready to make all the efforts in this endeavour The situation is improving in Kashmir valley. We wish to see smiles on the face of Kashmiri people," the Union minister, who is on a four-day visit to the state said while addressing media.
"The terrorists have destroyed many generations of Kashmiris. We will not allow another generation to go waste in Kashmir. The worst affected groups in Kashmir are the youth, businessmen, workers and the poor," he said.
Rajnath Singh also said that the government will not go against sentiments of people on Article 35A. "There are no issues left that are why such issues are being raised," he said.
The Home Minister also said that the Centre will run a special tourism drive for Kashmir to promote tourism in the state.
The Home Minister also spoke about the permanent solution to Kashmir problem. He says his outreach is based on Five Cs. "The Five Cs of HM's Kashmir outreach are 1-Compassion 2- Communication 3- Coexistence 4-Confidence Building & 5- Consistency," Singh said.
