Dawood Ibrahim, one of India’s most wanted criminals, is hiding in Pakistan and his security has been tightened after the formation of Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre, reported Zee News. Recently, Dawood's security has also been stepped up by fifty percent to counter any surprise attack. This has been revealed by Iqbal Kaskar--brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim--who has been arrested in an extortion case by Thane police.

Dawood has changed his hideout four times in Pakistan since 2014 as he fears Narendra Modi government is making all efforts to arrest him, claimed Iqbal Kaskar during the interrogation.

Dawood still remains in touch with his family members, but never talks to them on phone, revealed Iqbal. Dawood's men keep him updated about his family, and whenever required, Dawood goes all out to extend help to his family.

India has repeatedly raised the issue of Dawood hiding in Pakistan, but our neighbour has always refuted the charge.

Iqbal Kaskar has revealed many details about Dawood and his illegal business operations. According to Iqbal, his brother Dawood has got involved with drug cartel of Mexico. Dawood is heavily investing in drugs these days and making all efforts to extend his roots in Latin America and African countries. He has already forged an alliance with local drug suppliers in these countries, revealed Iqbal Kaskar.

Earlier, the Thane Police on Tuesday claimed that in the past four years at least 20 builders, jewellers and businessmen from Mumbai and nearby cities were allegedly targeted for extortion money by Iqbal Kaskar and his aides. The police will now record the statement of these 'victims' of Kaskar in order to bolster their case against him.
