Noted Journalist HK Dua will be conferred the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak national award for 2011 for excellence in journalism.
This was announced in Pune today by Deepak Tilak, trustee of Kesari-Maratha Trust which gives away the award every year.
Dua is one of the senior most journalists in the country whose career spans over four decades and is known for his study of political and international affairs.
The award will be conferred on Dua in Pune on January 4, 2011 which also marks the 130th anniversary of Kesari, started by Lokmanya Tilak to mobilise the masses against the British rule during pre-independence era.
