A helicopter carrying CoBRA commandos crash-landed at Chintagufa in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. The helicopter's five occupants have received minor injuries.
Officials said, two officers and a commando of the elite jungle warfare unit of the CoBRA were among five people hurt.
The crash landing took place near a CRPF camp. The reason for crash landing is not yet known.
Sukma district made headlines this week, as 25 CRPF jawans were martyred in Chattisgarh.
About 300 Naxals had ambushed a 99-member team of soldiers who were patrolling the area.
The Naxals were heavily armed with automatic rifles and rocket launchers. The outnumbered jawans battled the Maoists for more than two hours inflicting heavy casualties on the red terrorists.
