Fire at Sheikh-ul-Aalam college in J&K, no one hurt

A private educational institute was partially damaged in a fire incident in Bandipora district of north Kashmir today, police said.

The fire broke out in Sheikh-ul-Aalam BEd college at Bandipora town, 55km from Srinagar, this afternoon, resulting in damage to the first floor of the building, police said.

However, no one was hurt in the blaze which was doused in time by the fire services personnel, police said adding the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
