The Delhi government will soon launch a revised TB control programme in the city to offer better treatment to the patients affected by the disease.
Health minister AK Walia, addressing a function to mark the World TB day, said the government will launch the new programme soon to make Delhi a TB-free city.
He said there are 250 TB patients in every one lakh population in the city.
The percentage of TB affected people have come down from 22% in 1996 to 2.6% in 2010.
