On Kulbhushan Jadhav, Balochistan activist Mama Qadeer Baloch says he was kidnapped from Iran on the directions of ISI for huge sums of money
Balochistan activist Mama Qadeer Baloch sought PM Narendra Modi’s intervention to liberate their land from Pakistan, just like India had helped the formation of Bangladesh. “We plead Prime Minister of India to help us politically and militarily to get us freedom from Pakistan,” Qadeer told DNA in an exclusive interview.
Founder of the ‘International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons’ travelled more than 2,000 km on foot and broke the record of Mahatma Gandhi — who traveled for 390 km from Ahmadabad to Dandi as part of his famous salt march — with a group of Baloch women and men on their way from Quetta to Islamabad to get their missing men and women released. He is in India for medical treatment of his grandson. Qadeer said, “If Indian PM politically and militarily supports us, it will help us get freedom. He should help us the way India helped to liberate East Pakistan.” He reiterated that they will definitely get freedom in a few months.
On Kulbhushan Jadhav, Qadeer said he was ‘kidnapped on the directions of the ISI for huge sums of money. “Kulbhushan Jadhav was abducted from Iran by (terrorist) Mullah Omar on being given huge sums of money by Pakistan. Jadhav was then taken to Islamabad through Quetta and made to give pro-Pakistan statements through force and torture,’’ he said
He also said they will first fight with Pakistan and get independence and then they will then seek to liberate their occupied land from Iran.
He said they are suffering in Pakistan every day. “We will not allow Pakistan to rule the people of Balochistan. We will fight with them till the end. It is just a matter of a few months,” he said. Qadeer also alleged that Pakistani army and agencies have been kidnapping their youths, engineers, activists and lawyers and putting them in unknown hideouts.
