Ahmedabad builders make a mark in Mumbai

Gujarati merit made its presence felt once again in Maximum City. The property show of Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers (GIHED), in Mumbai, has received good response.

Realtors from Ahmedabad had showcased more than 300 properties in the two-day show organised in Goregaon.
Various kinds of projects such as apartments, bungalows, and farmhouses were exhibited by realtors during the show.

"Around 36,000 people visited the show over two days. The exhibitors have received a good number of inquiries about their properties," said Suresh Patel, president of GIHED.

The realtors who participated are also upbeat regarding the conversion of inquiries into actual transactions. Many are expected to visit Ahmedabad during weekends, and also during the GIHED property show slated to take place next month in Ahmedabad, said Patel.

Property rates in Ahmedabad are decidedly lower than those in Mumbai. Moreover, while realtors in Ahmedabad provide quality work and designs, many have even opted for foreign architects for their projects.  The property show in Mumbai was to be organised in August earlier, but was later postponed to September.

Now that it has been held though, it appears that it has hit all the right notes.
