Ben Affleck, who is considered a legend in the Batman series, is set to reprise his role for an upcoming DC movie which revolves around 'The Flash'. The news comes in a surprise since Ben had previously stated that it is too much pressure to write, act and direct a Batman film while he needs to also constantly focus on his health. He turned down the movie after being told he would 'drink himself to death' if he did the movie.

Not only Affleck, but even Michael Keaton, who was a part of 'Batman Returns', will join the movie.

Director Andy Muschietti confirmed the news to Variety, stating the film will be an adaptation of 'Flashpoint'. He thus hinted that The Flash will have a crossover with the Batmen after he crashes into multiple dimensions.

Andy said, "The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck’s Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven’t seen before."

Affleck has been a part of the Justice League, and soon, fans are going to be able to catch the Snyder Cut of the film. Various celebrities and fans had demanded that DC release Zack Snyder's cut from the 'Justice League', post which they decided to premiere it on HBO.

On the other hand, Robert Pattinson, who has turned the latest Batman, will feature in Matt Reeves film. The movie goes on floors in September. The shooting of the film came to a halt after COVID-19 hit the world.
