The India-specific avatar of the battle royale game - Battlegrounds Mobile India - is likely to be launched by Krafton on June 18 (Friday).
With just two more days left for the likely launch of the Battlegrounds Mobile India, PUBG Mobile India fans surely can't keep calm. The India-specific avatar of the battle royale game - Battlegrounds Mobile India - is likely to be launched by Krafton on June 18 (Friday). This would be exactly a month since the pre-registrations opened for Android users on May 18.
Device compatibility
The Battlegrounds Mobile India is going to take around 600MB on an Android device, however, if experts are to be believed, you will actually need a lot more space to be able to run the game smoothly. Your phone needs to be on Android 5.1 or higher version, which means all new Android phones are supported. The RAM on your phone has to be at least 2GB, which is also something most phones will have. Smartphones with Android Go software will not support the game because of RAM constraints. Also, a good internet connection is a must for a seamless experience.
Parental guidance for under-18 players
Battlegrounds Mobile India will have restrictions for children and teenagers. Players below 18 years of age will have new restrictions in Battlegrounds Mobile India and will need to register for the game with a phone number that belongs to their parents or guardian. This will happen through mobile number verification, but the exact method is not available right now. It may be a one-time password-based verification where you will have to provide the game with a mobile number to get OTP and you will gain access to the game only after entering it.
How to pre-register for Battlegrounds India Mobile on an Android device?
Step 1: Android phone users should look up Battlegrounds Mobile India by going on Google PlayStore.
Step 2: Users then need to click on the "Pre-register" button.
Pre-registration rewards
Krafton had said there will be four exclusive pre-registration rewards, including the Recon Mask, the Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title, and 300 AG.
Krafton also recently announced that the Battlegrounds India Mobile had crossed over 20 million Pre-Registration in India. Krafton thanked its fans for the massive pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India. CEO Kafton, CH Kim said, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Indian fans for their overwhelming response to the BATTLEGROUNDS IP, first developed by me and my team in 2017. The BATTLEGROUNDS IP received love and acclaim from players worldwide, and KRAFTON will continue to build on the IP. That effort includes bringing amazing content to BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, and providing an incomparable battle royale experience to our players”.
However, PUBG lovers who have an iOS device have to wait a little longer for the battle royale game - Battlegrounds Mobile India. On asking about when the iOS version will be released, Krafton replied – “We will keep our fans informed on further developments. New updates will be released on our official website and social networks, so please stay tuned for further news!”
It is pertinent to note that the PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Indian government in September 2020 due to data privacy concerns under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
