Around a week ago, actor Jr NTR shared with his followers on Twitter that him, Ram Charan and director SS Rajamouli were off to Vadodara for their upcoming schedule of the much awaited film RRR. “Off to a flying start!Big schedule ahead.#RRR (sic),” posted NTR on social media sharing the same.

As a part of the schedule, the team was expected to be shooting at various locations across Gujarat before moving to an elaborate schedule in Pune and parts of Maharashtra. But a sudden development has derailed things a wee bit and the RRR team has postponed the schedule by a few days.

Releasing an update to the media via SMS, the team wrote: “We regret to mention that #RamCharan confronted a minor ankle injury while working out at the gym, yesterday. The pune schedule has been called off. Back to action in 3 weeks - Team #RRR (sic).”

Apparently, Ram Charan was immediately shown to a doctor who suggested that he avoid straining himself for a while as that would aggravate the scenario. “He has been asked to rest so that he will not have trouble continuing shooting after this gap. If he’s strain himself, things would go bad in the long run,” a source shared with DNA.

Starting Alia Bhatt opposite Ram Charan and British actress Daisy Edgar Jones opposite Charan, the film is a period drama set in pre-independence India. The film will tell a fictional story of well known Telugu freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetha Rama Raju.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn plays a key role in the film that is set for a release on July 30, 2020. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film is set to release in several Indian languages.
