Performing on stage was a challenge: Kylie Minogue

Singer Kylie Minogue admits battling breast cancer was a challenge and she set a target to perform on stage again after completing her treatment. Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005.

Kylie admits performing on the stage after being given the all clear was a physical and emotional challenge. “There was the physical challenge of knowing your body's been through a lot and dealing with those changes, but it was a real emotional challenge too,” contactmusic quoted Kylie as saying.

"Performing again was what I had longed for, but I could definitely sense people were watching thinking, 'Is she ok? Is she going to make it?'

"I just had to dig my heels in, I've got strong determination. I'm like a little terrier, I will do it," she added.
