Mick Jagger to play Murdoch-like figure in acting return venture

Frontman for rock legends The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger is set to return to acting by playing a media mogul in a new film, Tabloid inspired by one of his own ideas.

Mick’s, 68, new movie has reportedly been developed through his Jagged Films production company.

A History of Violence screenwriter Josh Olson has developed the script, based on a concept presented by the singer.

According to RollingStone.com, Jagger's character will be a Rupert Murdoch-like figure, who mentors a young journalist, the daily star reported.
