Rhea Chakraborty's fans lauded her for her efforts to help the ailing child and his parents and said that they will do their bit to support them.
After the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty was subjected to intense media glare and public scrutiny. Not only was she blamed for his death but was also dragged in the SSR drugs case, along with her entire family. During this period, Rhea was almost absent on social media. But gradually she has started sharing posts on her Instagram again.
On her birthday eve, Rhea shared an emotional video on her Instagram handle appealing to her fans to help raise money to save the life of a one-year-old kid who is suffering from a rare-genetic disease. In the video, Rhea can be seen talking about the child’s illness and asks her fans to donate as much, or as little money as they can.
While sharing the video she wrote, “Please Help Janish 1-year-old Janish has SMA Type-1, a rare genetic disease that usually kills babies before they turn 2 and can only be cured with Zolgensma which costs 16 crore rupees (USD 2.1 Million). As a last resort, his parents have started a fundraiser. Please help as much as you can to save his life.” She also added the fundraiser linked in her caption.
The actor’s fans lauded her for her efforts to help the ailing child and his parents and said that they will do their bit to suport them. “More power to you,” wrote one user while another commented, "God bless you.” A third user wrote, “Gud job rhea god bless uh,” while a fourth one wrote, “Strongest woman on earth.”
On Tuesday (June 29), Rhea shared a morning selfie on her Instagram story. Rhea could be seen in a black top with white flower work on it. With hair parted on one side, the actor smiled for the camera. “Rise and shine,” she wrote in the caption.
A few days ago on SSR’s death anniversary, Rhea penned a long and heartfelt note for the late actor saying that she still doesn’t believe that he is not here anymore. She wrote that she misses ‘my best friend, my man, my love’ and wished for him to come back.
On the work front, Rhea is all set to make her comeback with the film ‘Chehre’ which also stars, Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Krystle D’souza.
