The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2021 date has been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the official notice, WBJEE 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2021. Earlier WBJEE 2021 was scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021. Interested candidates can check the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in for detailed information.

 

The official notification reads, “in view of the COVID-19 second wave pandemic situation and continued restrictions, the date of WBJEE-2021 has been rescheduled keeping in mind the health and academic interest of the aspiring candidates.”

 

“The examination will be held on July 17, 2021 (Saturday),” it added.

 

WBJEE 2021 will be held in two shifts – Paper-I and Paper-II. In the first shift, Paper I (Mathematics) will be held from 11 am to 1 pm and Paper-II (Physics and Chemistry) will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. According to the revised timetable, WBJEE 2021 Admit Card will be released after July 12.

 

The online application for WBJEE was started on February 23, 2021, and concluded on March 23, 2021.

 

WBJEE is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to Undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes in the state.
