Union Public Service Commission has released the admit card 2021 for Engineering Service Examination Prelims on June 24, 2021. Candidates who have applied for the UPSC ESE Prelims exam 2021 can download the admit card through the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in. ESE Prelims exam 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on July 18.

 

The first paper duration will be for 2 hours and will comprise 200 marks and the second paper duration will be for 3 hours and will comprise 300 marks. The Stage I examination will be conducted in two shifts- the first from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The General Studies And Engineering Aptitude Paper will be conducted in the first shift and Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecom. Engg. (Discipline- Specific Paper) in the second shift, as per the official timetable.

 

Steps to download UPSC ESE Prelims Admit Card 2021:

 

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC on upsc.gov.in.

 

Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘UPSC ESE Prelims Admit Card 2021’ link.

 

Step 3: A new page will open up where candidates will have to enter their login credentials.

 

Step 4: Enter name, roll number, registration id and name and year of the examination

 

Step 5: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

The candidate needs to carry an e-Admit card (print out), along with the (original) photo identity card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session to secure admission to the examination hall. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results as its production before Service Selection Board is necessary.

 

Candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding / filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to the roll number and test booklet series code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.

 

The candidate should enter the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination. Entry to the examination hall closes 10 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of the examination in each session.
