The 2018 CGL Tier-I exam was conducted by the SSC from June 4, 2019 to June 13, 2019
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the 2018 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination tentative answer keys and response sheet on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 and also announced the tentative date for declaration of result. Candidates who appeared for SSC's CGL Tier I - 2018 examination can download the answer keys from the official website - ssc.nic.in.
The 2018 CGL Tier I exam was conducted by the SSC from June 4, 2019 to June 13, 2019 at different centres all over the country. Re-examination for some venues was also conducted by the Commission on June 19.
The notification released along the answer keys stated that the objections against the answers on the answer keys can be challenged before 5 pm, June 30, 2019 (5.00 pm). The fee for challenging the answer keys is Rs 100 per question/answer. The candidates are encouraged to take a print out of their respective Response Sheets, as the same will not be available after the specified time limit.
Steps to download SSC CGL 2018 Tier I answer keys:
Step-1: Visit the SSC official website ssc.nic.in
Step-2: Click on the link 'Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) – 2018' under the Latest News section.
Step-3: A PDF file of the notification will open.
Step-4: At the bottom of the PDF a link titled "Link for candidate’s response sheet, tentative answer keys and submission of representation" is given.
Step-5: Click on the link. A new page will open where the link to access the answer keys will be present. Click on the link.
Step-6: Enter the log-in details and submit.
The answer keys and response sheets can be accessed, and the link to submit any challenge is also available.
When will the result be declared:
In a separate notification about "Status Report of Results to be declared by the Commission", SSC said it will declare SSC 2018 CGL Tier I exam results on August 20, 2019.
SSC 2018 CGL Tier I to fill Group B and Group C posts in various departments of the Government of India was from June 4 to June 13. A re-exam was conducted on June 19 for some students who experienced technical issues at some centres.
Close to 26 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. However, just 8.35 lakh participated in the exam.
