REET 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on June 20 and was later postponed.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam For Teachers (REET) on September 26, state education minister Govind Singh Dotasra announced on Wednesday. The board will release the revised schedule soon.
For candidates belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) the registration window will open on June 21. These candidates can submit their applications by July 5.
In a tweet in Hindi, Dotasra said, "#REET It has been decided to conduct the exam on 26th September. Applications for EWS candidates will be accepted from 21st June to 5th July. Very soon the Board of Secondary Education will release the revised release."

EWS अभ्यर्थियों के लिए आवेदन 21 जून से 5 जुलाई तक लिए जाएँगे। बहुत जल्द माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड संशोधित विज्ञप्ति जारी करेगा।
About REET exam
There are 150 questions in each paper carrying 1 mark each. Candidates are allowed 2.5 hours duration to complete the test for each paper. In paper 1, about 30 questions are asked from each subject while in paper 2, 30 questions are asked from each of the common subjects while 60 questions are asked from the optional maths and science/ social science subject.
Those who clear paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 while those who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8.

REET 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on June 20 and was later postponed. "In view of the Covid situation it is not possible to conduct the exam on June 20," Dotasra had said.
"EWS candidates have to be given permission for the exam as government guidelines and a decision regarding this is pending," he had said.
REET 2021 exam has been rescheduled twice. Earlier, the exam was to be conducted on April 25 which was rescheduled to June 20 to include the candidates of the EWS category. However, keeping the safety of candidates as a priority, the state board had deferred the exam further due to the second wave of Covid-19.
Now, the exam will be held on September 26, 2021.
