Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Board Exam 2021 have been cancelled. The Maharashtra government had sent a proposal in this regard to the State Disaster Management Authority yesterday only, which has been approved. The Maharashtra HSC Exams 2021 have been postponed due to a massive spike in COVID-19 cases. 

 

The state education minister Varsha Gaikwad told the media earlier that the education department will send the proposal to the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) as the HSC exam issue is pending in the Bombay court.

 

The central government on Tuesday decided that Class 12 board exams of CBSE would not be held this year in view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID-19 and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders.

 

The government said CBSE will take steps to compile the results of Class 12 students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. It was also decided that like last year, in case some students desire to take the exams, such an option would be provided to them by CBSE, as and when the situation becomes conducive.
