GSEB declares HSC Arts and Commerce result 2020: 76.29% pass percentage recorded; girls outshine boys yet again

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) has released the result of class 12 or HSC Commerce and Arts examinations results on its official website gseb.org.

The result was announced early morning today and appeared students can check the result on the official website gseb.org.

In 2020, 3.71 lakh students had appeared in the GSEB HSC arts and commerce exam, out of which 1.95 lakh were girls and 1.76 lakh were boys. 

A total of 269 schools got 100 percent results for class 12 Arts and Commerce stream. A total of 5,27,140 candidates appeared in the exam in 2020 and the overall passing percentage of the general stream is 76.29 percent. Girls once again outperformed boys as the pass percentage of girls is 82.20 percent, while for boys it is 70.97 percent. In 2019 too, girls had outshone boys. 

1,58,532 students have scored above 60% (1st division) is GSEB HSC Exam 2020. 

The GSEB SSC examinations were held between March 5 and March 17. 

How to check Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) HSC Class 12 Result:

1. Log in to the official website of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board -- gseb.org
 
2. You'll find the option to enter your six-digit Seat No.
 
3. Submit your official credentials to the website and proceed
 
4. The result will appear on your screen
 
5. Download and save the result for future reference

Students can also send an SMS in the format —HSC <space> SEAT NUMBER — to 56263 to check their results on their phones.
