CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results: BIG decisions by CBSE students need to know

As lakhs of CBSE Class 12 students across the country are waiting eagerly for the declaration of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a policy for the tabulation of marks for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results.

A notification released by the CBSE said that an IT system is being developed by the CBSE which will help the schools in the preparation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results.

The notification issued by the CBSE said that while a ‘Policy for Tabulation of Marks for Class-XII Board Examinations 2021’ has already been issued, the new system is focused at easing calculation work, reduce time and address other problems.

“This system will also pre-populate marks of Class X of the students passed from CBSE. Efforts will also be made to take other Boards’ class X results data,” read the notification.

The CBSE added that it would remain in constant touch with affiliated schools to ensure that CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results are prepared by schools without problems. 

It is to be noted that the CBSE has also decided to set-up a help desk to assist schools in preparation of result for both Class 10 and Class 12. The help desk will be set up from next week. 

The CBSE mentioned in its affidavit that in case of disputes regarding the finalisation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results, the matter will be referred to a committee to be created by the CBSE. The CBSE also said that an online facility for registration for optional exam will be made but the marks in optional exam will be treated as final marks.

Earlier On Thursday, the CBSE had submitted the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Evaluation Criteria 2021 for result calculation to the Supreme Court. The Evaluation Criteria submitted by the CBSE showed that marks scored by students in their Class 10, 11 and 12 would be considered in the ratio of 30, 30 and 40%. The Evaluation Criteria was approved by the SC.
