Gurugram woman who assaulted Indian Army personnnel arrested

A woman from Gurugram has been arrested for allegedly assaulting army personnel and has been picked up from her house. Ms Smriti Kalra, a 44-year-old from Gurugram, was seen in a video shouting and hitting an Army personnel. A video of the incident had gone viral on September 13.

The vehicle involved during the incident, an Indica car has also been seized from her house. A Home Science graduate, she was married to an army official’s son in 1995 but got separated from him due a matrimonial dispute and they got divorced in 2008.
