DELHI
Railways today cancelled seven outbound trains from the city in view of the dense fog cover over the northern states even as it rescheduled the departures of four others.
The cancellation was done in view of the delays in the running of the incoming trains, a Northern Railway spokesperson said.
Close to 10 trains arrived in the city which were behind schedule by two to 10 hours.
Poor visibility has hampered train services in the region for about a fortnight now.
The trains cancelled today included the Jharkhand Express from Anand Vihar to Hatia, Jullandhra Inter-City Express, Lichchvi Express from New Delhi to Sitamarhi and Garhwal Express from New Delhi to Kotdwar, among others.
