Team India cricketer Rohit Sharma, who will be crowned with the h Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award this year on August 29, recently thanked his fans through a social media post. While his followers flooded the comment section with lots of love, former Indian allrounder Yuvraj Singh hilariously trolled Rohit by pointing out at his chubby cheeks. "It's amazing how u can talk while keeping gulab jamuns stuffed on each side of your mouth," Yuvraj left a comment on Rohit's post. Replaying to Yuvraj's comment, Ritika hilariously wrote: "must you tease the Khel Ratna".

Yuvraj and Rohit are very good friends and are well known for their witty social media interactions. Not only teammates during their Team India days, but Yuvraj also played under Rohit Sharma's captaincy in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Mumbai Indians too.

Other than Rohit, table tennis star Manika Batra, India hockey women's skipper Rani Rampal, Asian Games gold medalist Vinesh Phogat and Paralympic gold medalist Mariappan Thangavelu will also be crowned with India's highest sporting honor.

While Rohit has been recognized for his accomplishments with the bat, Vinesh has been in the eye for her gold medals in the 2018 Commonwealth and Asian Games. She had even won bronze in the 2019 Asian Wrestling Championships. As for Thangavelu got the recognition for his gold medal in the 2016 Rio Paralympics in the T42 high jump category.
