'Who is he talking about?': Twitter busy with guessing game as Sourav Ganguly fires cryptic tweet

Fans were left wondering after former India captain Sourav Ganguly tweeted a cryptic message criticising 'someone'. Ganguly's tweet came minutes after India beat Australia by 36 runs for their second win of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. 

Ganguly tweeted, "His comments on Twitter is a bit like his batting meaningless and lack of ideas  .. may be just an attention seeker...in the negative way" 

However, Ganguly did not mention anyone by name in the tweet and soon the fans on Twitter were busy with the guessing game.

There were many who considered this shot at former Indian player and fellow commentator Sanjay Manjrekar.

Sanjay Manjrekar has tweeted about Ganguly hours before and many Twitter users were saying that it was Ganguly's way of responding to him. Here's what Manjrekar has tweeted:

However, many fans guessed that Dada's intended target was Michael Vaughan, who is well known for his controversial takes on Twitter.

It seems unlikely that Sourav Ganguly will make it clear who he was talking about but one thing is clear - the message has been delivered.
