India inflicted a humiliating 89-run defeat on their arch-rivals Pakistan in a much-hyped World Cup match, which eventually turned to be a lop-sided affair.

The game was interrupted by two-three times. The first delay occured towards the end of India's innings while the second forced the start of second innings to be delayed a little. The third delay happened in after 35 overs in Pakistan innings. This forced the match to be curtailed to 40 overs and the run-chase was adjusted to 302 runs based on the Duckworth-Lewis (DLS) method with Pakistan needing 136 runs more off just 30 balls. In the end, Pakistan fell short by 89 runs.

During one such rain interruption, India skipper Virat Kohli was seen having fun with his teammates. It seemed Virat Kohli was imitating his Pakistani counterpart Sarfaraz Ahmed. A fan video of the moment is on social media and keen-eyed fans are that the Indian captain was clearly imitating Sarfaraz.

In the video, Kohli is seen making funny expressions while in the dugout. If one goes by the lip-syncing, one can see he was imitating the way Sarfraz speaks. His imitation had Kuldeep Yadav laughing hard.

During the match, Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed was also trolled after being spotted seen yawning behind the stumps.

Put into bat in a stop-start match, India posted a commanding 336-5 with Rohit Sharma (140) smashing his second century of the tournament.

Skipper Virat Kohli (77) and KL Rahul (57) also got fifty but Mohammad Amir's (3-47) tight death-overs spell denied India a 350-plus total in the sold out contest between the arch-rivals.

A century stand between Fakhar Zaman (62) and Babar Azam (48) kept alive Pakistan's hopes until they suffered a batting collapse and finished on 212-6 in 40 overs chasing a revised target of 302.

Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar claimed two wickets each for India who now have a 7-0 record against Pakistan in World Cup.
