Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's helicopter shot has been emulated a number of times by fans and his teammates as well, whether in the nets or during the match. Dhoni's helicopter shot became a rage in mid 2000s when he first played during his long hair days.
Dhoni's style and flamboyance gave that shot its name and made it famous more than any other cricketer's signature shot. Now, on Friday, commentator and former India player Aakash Choprs shared a video of a little kid trying to emulate the former wicket-keeper batsman and acing it comfortably.
The kid playing in a proper cricket kit was timing the trademark helicopter shot with ease and the video has already garnered over 6.4k views in less than 24 hours. Chopra, who has lent his voice in the video had shared a video of a girl last year trying to play the same shot.
