Former Australian fast-bowler Mitchell Johnson and English batting great Kevin Pietersen are at loggerheads once again. After enthralling fans with their fierce rivalry on the field for years, the duo has taken matters off the field as well.
It all started with a pointed, yet funny, tweet by Johnson on Day 3 of the first Ashes Test at The Gabba, Brisbane, in which Australia inflicted a humiliating 10-wicket defeat on England.
"Hey @KP24 @MichaelVaughan yesterday were carrying on about the pommy fast bowlers being able to bowl in the 140’s. Ever since they’ve taken the second new ball they’ve been bowling medium pace. They are allowed to bend their backs, and there’s 4 of them #ashes #sweatbandswinger," wrote Mitch on Twitter.

KP, known to often get into public spats, didn't take kindly to Johnson's jibe. "Mitchell, is this you or your management tweeting? If it’s you, you not helping yourself! If it’s your management, ask them to stop or sack them," replied Pietersen.

Before anyone knew, Pietersen went ahead and blocked Johnson on Twitter. Proof of which was shared by the Aussie via a screenshot.

Pietersen, who once captained England and will go down as one of the finest batsman his country has ever produced, saw his fine career being cut short after the 2013/14 Ashes - a series in which Johnson took 37 wickets and decimated England.
